Approached along a tree lined valley road, across an ancient Spara Bridge the village is home to a post office and the popular Manor Inn. Just a short stroll from the pub is Teign View, a detached bungalow comprising a comfortable lounge, a spacious kitchen/diner and two attractive bedrooms. Steps lead down to the fully enclosed garden which has a patio and pretty views over the valley beyond. Just two miles away are the magical waterfalls, lakes and ancient woodlands of Canonteign Falls and the Teign Valley Golf Course is within one mile. South Devon's bustling resorts and beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Note: Pets are charged at £30.00 per pet, per week / short break Note: For any holiday starting between 16th September and 27th May, a heating supplement of £45 per week (or short break) will be added to the cost of your holiday. It is a fantastic place for a holiday with scenery all around with hills, fields, rivers and thatched cottages. Lower Ashton offers a charming pub. The village comes in a fantastic location with all sorts of places nearby. The city of Exeter comes within a short drive and offers architecture, amenities and so much to do. If you fancy a trip to the beach, head to the lovely seaside town of Exmouth which offers a museum and an amusement centre with so much more. The market town of Newton Abbott is also easily accessible and is worth the visit.
