House with private enclosed garden and play area, 10 min from Dinan

Set in a beautiful private and enclosed garden, our villa is situated in the countryside close to the town of Evran in Brittany. There is something for everyone here - for those seeking peace in the countryside there are opportunities for country walks around the pretty lanes that surround the villa or alongside the canal that runs through the beautiful town only a short distance away. For families there are plenty of distractions for the children as the villa has a play area, with slide, swings, towers and bridges in the garden and the accommodation is child as well as adult-friendly. The medieval town of Dinan and the port of Saint Malo are only a short drive away. For beach lovers some of the finest beaches are 30 min away. The gite provides spacious, well-appointed accommodation for up to 6 people. Great care has been taken to make the house comfortable and the French charm and character combine with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. The ground floor consists of a light and airy lounge/dining room furnished Breton style, with patio doors into the garden with SAT/TV and DVD player. There is separate fully fitted kitchen with dining table and chairs. Appliances include a dishwasher, induction hob, fan assisted oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and fridge with a freezer compartment plus washing machine. Also on the ground floor is a toilet and shower room. The first floor has 3 large bedrooms which can be arranged to fit your requirements, whether it be three double beds, six single beds, or any combination in-between, the choice is yours. Everything has been carefully thought out to accommodate safely and comfortably our little guests, babies, toddlers and young children: Stair gates at the top and bottom of the staircase, A full size wooden cot with anti-allergenic mattress, quilt and pillow with bed linen, plus a wooden highchair, Baby bath and changing facility, Changing mat, Baby monitoring equipment, Toilet reducer, Potty, Plastic cups, plates and cutlery, Step, Bottle warmer and steriliser. Our gite can also accommodate families traveling to Brittany with twins as there are also a travel cot and a second high chair. All supplied at no extra charge. An English speaking babysitting service is available so you can go and enjoy a romantic meal out while your children are being looked after. You can relax in the sun loungers whilst your children are playing safely in the enclosed garden. Swings, slide, climbing frame with towers and bridges, swing ball, rackets, boule pitch, etc., will keep them amused. Our chickens will, no doubt, intrigue them. Being in the countryside you won’t have to go too far to see farm animals: cows, sheep, horses, donkeys, chickens, cockerels, etc. Unlimited Wifi is available in the gîte at no extra cost. Teenagers will be able to catch up with their friends or play games online. For the evening, we have a wide choice of books and games (Cluedo, Scrabble, Chess, Draughts, Snakes and Ladders, Dominoes, Stumblin’blocks, Monopoly, etc) to keep the whole family entertained. For winter stays central heating ensures a warm and cosy stay. In addition if you want to improve your French conversation, we can assist. You can set aside the odd hour during your stay to improve your French with French native, Rachel.
