The property is located in the beautiful resort of Altomincio. The holiday complex is located directly along the banks of the Mincio in Valeggio sul Mincio, just a few kilometers from Peschiera del Garda. The complex is divided into two zones, the slightly elevated zone on a hillside for guests who would like to have some rest and the normal zone closer to the pool and animation for those who want to have some action on vacation. Altomincio offers fun and entertainment for all ages! From the kids' club for children up to 10 years of age through various pools with slides to their own climbing park in the holiday village, everything is included. There are also several playgrounds for your children and a mini golf course for the whole family. The holiday complex has several pools, also for small children, a restaurant, take-away, a supermarket and a bazaar, a bike rental, a climbing park, mini golf and a shuttle service. Wifi is available free of charge in the holiday village. The beautiful and new mobile home Giotto Plus / 2765) offers space for max. 5 people (including at least 1 child under 12 years). The accommodation consists of a double bedroom and a children's room with two single beds and a loft bed. The well-equipped kitchen has a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, cutlery, pots, a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator with an icebox. The property has a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, and a separate toilet with sink. The covered terrace with table, chairs and two deck chairs invites you to relax in comfort while the children can let off steam at the pool or on the playground. Air conditioning is available and can also be used as heating on somewhat colder days. The bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot can be rented on site. Grilling is allowed and there is also a gas grill. A parking space is included. If necessary, a high chair can be booked on site (please reserve when booking). The journey time from the Italian border is approximately 2 hours. Half-board can also be booked on request. ARRIVAL DAY + STAY DURATION In the period from July 11th to August 21st 2020 the minimum stay is 7 nights (daily arrival possible). In the period from 04. 04. - 17. 04. 2020 / 30. 05. - 10. 07. 2020 / 22. 08. - 04. 09. 2020 the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). In the remaining time, the minimum stay is 2 nights (daily arrival possible). Note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the day of arrival, check-in is of course also possible the following day (please report before arrival). The same applies if you want to leave earlier. Departure is also possible here the day before. However, the rental period / rental price specified for booking remains unchanged. The nearest public beach is in Peschiera del Garda about 8 km from the resort. The pool area has something to offer for all ages! The holiday village has a baby pool for very young children, a heated children's pool with lagoons and slides and an Olympic pool for sporty guests. Loungers are available free of charge around the pool area. There is also no swimming cap requirement in this resort. There is a bar right by the pools where you can treat yourself to a cool refreshment or ice cream on a hot day. Several lifeguards ensure pool safety all day long. LOCATION The Altomincio holiday complex is located in the middle of nature, just outside Valeggio sul Mincio, right on the banks of the Mincio river. You can cycle along the river to Peschiera del Garda. There is a kids' club for children between the ages of 4 and 10, where a professional multilingual animation team paints, crafts and plays with the children. A multilingual animation team is also available for children aged 11 to 14. This offers the children fun and action all day long and the parents some rest to relax without children. Several playgrounds are distributed throughout the facility, so that the children can let off steam at any time. For those who are looking for even more action, the holiday village has its own climbing park (for a fee), in which you can view the holiday complex from above. In addition, the entire resort is car-free and therefore very safe. A travel cot can be rented if required, a high chair can be borrowed free of charge (please register when booking). LEISURE AND SPORTS Enjoy yourself with a game of table tennis or measure your strength and skill in the climbing park. Bicycles for young and old can also be rented in the holiday village, so that nothing stands in the way of an excursion to the nearby Lake Garda. You are also welcome to meet the whole family for mini golf (for a fee). There are also large chess and checkers fields where you can measure your strategic skills. The resort has its own supermarket with fresh groceries and everyday items. In addition, there is also a bazaar with a selection of many other items and an information stand for excursions. CATERING The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with stove, dishes, cutlery, pots, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer. This gives you the opportunity to cook yourself on vacation. In the supermarket in the holiday village you will find the necessary food. There are several catering options to choose from in the holiday complex. So you have the choice whether you would rather try the pasta or pizza in the restaurant or whether you would rather get something from the take-away and eat it comfortably at home. As a dessert, you can then treat yourself to an ice cream in the Froggy bar. You can also get snacks all day at the froggy bar by the pool. Of course you can also make use of half board. PETS A maximum of two pets are allowed in the designated accommodations, upon registration when booking. For dog owners, Peschiera del Garda has Bau Beach, a dog beach where you can spend a day with your dog on the beach. LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS The holiday complex is not far from the former fishing village of Valeggio sul Mincio near Peschiera del Garda. Peschiera del Garda is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda. Peschiera's old town, completely surrounded by canals, lies within a mighty, beautifully overgrown fortress. When strolling through the narrow streets you will find many nice shops and small bars. Peschiera has one of the few train stations directly on Lake Garda and is therefore very easy to reach by public transport. There is also a small marina in Peschiera. Peschiera advertises barrier-free shops and is therefore ideal for wheelchair users and families with prams. Great souvenirs, but also delicious salami, cheese and fresh fruit and vegetables can be bought cheaply at the weekly markets. Every Monday is market day in Peschiera. Castelnuovo del Garda is located next to Peschiera. This lures with a Century built by the Visconti, which towers over the old town of Castelnuovo. In just half an hour you are on a city break in Verona with its Roman past, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet and of course the world-famous arena with open air performances. In the west are the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan, which invite you to an extensive shopping tour. Even picturesque Venice is still easy to reach from Peschiera. A trip around Lake Garda is always an experience. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of amusement parks, zoos, climbing parks and swimming pools. In Castelnuovo del Garda you will find Gardaland, which is one of the largest amusement parks in Italy. Families will get their money's worth here, because with over 40 attractions from the whitewater rink to the fairytale-themed world there is something for everyone. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is waiting to bring visitors closer to the underwater world. In Movieland in Lazise, breathtaking stunt shows await visitors. Special effects provide the necessary action. The Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes' drive from the southeastern lake shore) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species and its inhabitants include a number of endangered species such as tigers, leopards and the little panda. On a walking path, visitors can go on safari and only get closer to animals such as rhinos, hippos and monkeys separated by natural barriers.
