Peaceful, comfortable home with beautiful views of the Catalina mountains from the back patio. Located in the center of the private adult community of Saddlebrooke. Guests have a private bedroom and bathroom, and share the common areas with me. I am very flexible and will work with your needs/desires for the use of the kitchen and other main areas of my home. Generous cabinet and refreigerator space are provided. I also travel, so I may be away for several days or more during your stay. Saddlebrooke is located about 45 minutes north of downtown Tucson. We are near the Biosphere and Catalina State Park. Our skies are fairly dark, so you may enjoy sitting out at night to star gaze. Within the community there are several good restaurants, and a community theater, which brings in live entertainment as well as weekly movies during the winter months. The Tucson Gem and Mineral show comes to town each February, as does the Annual La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros, the Tucson rodeo and parade. You can learn about the natural history of the southwest at the Sonoran Desert Museum, located in the Saaguaro National Park. Also, Tombstone is just south east of Tucson, for a trip back in time. Common household areas are available to you at all times. Amenities include: washer and dryer, WiFi and cable TV, off street parking in the driveway. Also, access to the Saddlebrooke community golf courses, swimming pools, and gyms with guest card. The neighborhood is quiet. Lots of friendly walkers in the early morning and evenings. You will need to rent a car if you fly in. We don't have public transportation nearby. My mother and sister visit occasionally.
