We bought this house, which is literally right next door to us, for Airbnb guests. It is a house that is divided into two spaces, a top and bottom unit. This listing is for the bottom unit which has a bedroom/living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The washer and dryer is shared in a separate shed space downstairs. Each unit has its own entrance. This apartment is part of a two story house in a quiet, historic and mixed neighborhood. The house tucked a bit back from the street so there's a feeling of privacy by being off the street. The unit itself is small but quaint, perfect for one or two people. The kitchen has been recently updated. It is surprisingly roomy and has all the appliances you need (stove, oven, microwave, fridge). The bathroom has also been recently updated, tiled by none other than my crafty husband. The space comes equipped with the usual house amenities (sheets, towels, dishes, pots and pans, etc.). The washer and dryer are next to the unit in an attached shed-like room and the room needs a face-lift but the appliances are in great condition. I think that's about it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! There are a few shared spaces: the front driveway, the backyard (rarely ever used), the front porch, and the laundry room/tool shed. Everything else is completely separate. We are really flexible if you want your own space or to interact. We'll always come and introduce ourselves and meet you but you are more than welcome to walk on over to our house for dinner, games or a beer if were around. We live in an old historic area of Nacogdoches, which means there are magnificent renovated 3 story homes and then there are ones that have been neglected. The house is about a 10-15 minute walk (it's sadly not a convenient walk but there are great homes to look at in our neighborhood) or 2 minute drive to the square and/or several nice restaurants and shops. There is public transit that picks up by our house. Here's the schedule/routes: (URL HIDDEN) Nacogdoches has wonderful walking/running and biking trails. Stephen F. University is also in the center of town and is easy to get to. We have weekly and monthly rates as well if you are interested in staying long term. We prefer not to have any pets in the unit, but as animals lovers, we may make exceptions but charge a pet fee. We have long-term guests quite frequently (1-6 months). All of our long-term guests are professionals from out of town, such as traveling nurses, students, or people moving here for work so we just ask that you be considerate while staying here.
