Singing Nail Cabin at Santa Fe Treehouse Camp

Singing Nail is the founders original cabin just off the beaten path on the 160 acre Santa Fe Treehouse Camp land. There is easy access to hiking trails and the National Forest. The parking and bath house with flush toilets and hot showers is a 1-2 minute walk away. Enjoy your own kitchen and dining on your beautiful back deck. For your sleeping comfort we have two Queen beds with cozy linens and pillows. Bring your own toiletries. Dogs welcome ($10 per night/per dog). (Closest market 25 min) Singing Nail has it’s own Wifi, a wood stove, private deck and a beautiful view of Shaggy Peak. Parking is 100’ up from the cabin with an incline. Pack in small, easily transportable bags. You will have access to hiking trails and all camp amenities other than private treehouses and campsites unless otherwise notified due to groups in camp. Hosts Brad and Ciana live on the property and are available most of the time if you need anything. Though located on an enchanted hilltop Singing Nail is only 10 minutes away from wonderful restaurants, 25 minutes from Meow Wolf and the historic Santa Fe Plaza or close by ski area. Enjoy a 20-minute hike to a creek in the forest (in wet weather) or climb up Shaggy Peak 3-5 hours round trip, depending on your activity level). We are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle, motorcycle, bike, horse Lyft! Be aware that the roads can be snowy or muddy in early spring, late fall and winter. During our short-lived monsoons in the summer the roads may get muddy as well. At those times of the year, we recommend a car with front-wheel, all- track or four-wheel drive and good traction tires. There is electricity and hot and cold running water, but no toilet (in Winter we may shut off the water to avoid freezing pipes). The communal bathhouse is a short walk away (1-2 minutes). In low season we have divided the bathhouse into private restrooms and showers for each cabin.
