Nestling in the fold of a valley on the edge of Holyford Woods, the Holyford Farm holiday cottages are set in a very peaceful location within the grounds of the owners’ home, a Grade II listed farmhouse. Garden Cottage is part of a converted Victorian coach house and is located opposite the main farmhouse. With beautiful features such as exposed stone walls, a slate tile floor and a wood burner, you can look forward to relaxing in comfort in a cosy cottage, full of character. This property has one bedroom with a kingsize bed, a built-in wardrobe and a chest-of-drawers. There is an en-suite bathroom which has a shower over the bath and a toilet downstairs. The local woodland has an abundance of wildlife and offers some wonderful country walks literally on the doorstep. The historic town of Colyton, with the River Coly flowing through it, is a mile or so away. Only a short distance away are the pretty seaside villages of Beer (Channel 4 ’Village of the Year’ finalist in 2018) and Branscombe. Axminster is only 6 miles away, as is the seaside resort of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb Harbour. It has an area of sandy beach and offers a variety of water sports, as well as many restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and exclusive gift shops.
