In close proximity, there are many well-known Lake District locations including Cartmel, Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and Grizedale Forest, which is well worth a visit with its' many walks for all abilities as well as its well-planned cycle tracks and for the thrill-seekers there is Go-Ape. The cottage sleeps 6 people comfortably, in three bedrooms. Two doubles and one twin bedroom and it benefits from a large lounge/dining room with a fireplace, a modern fitted kitchen, good size family bathroom, a small sitting room and enclosed patio with outdoor furniture.
