This one bedroom waterfront apartment is located on St Andrew's historic Water Street behind a retail shop, Cottage Chic. Sunset views from the deck overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, Navy Island and the Maine coast. Beach access provides easy access for kayaking or beach combing. Very private yet steps away from the town wharf and other attractions, shopping and restaurants. Includes wifi, basic cable, and Apple TV. The maximum number of guests permitted in this space is 2. No children or pets. Designed to Unwind - This waterfront apartment is in the heart of St Andrews' historic Water Street with access to shopping, dining and all that St Andrews' has to offer only a short walk away. The cottage like apartment has a clean, beachy vibe that invites relaxation. Sit on your waterfront deck with a drink in hand and watch spectacular sunsets. The apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed with a spacious spa inspired bathroom. The living area features a view of the bay and a spacious kitchen. Guests have use of entire apartment, deck and waterfront yard. Public access to the beach is next door. Wifi with basic cable, Apple TV. The host runs a shop at the front of the building and is available to answer questions and provide information during the day. 2016 Great Places in Canada Winner – Great Street Water Street has been the heart and soul of commercial and community life in St. Andrews by-the-Sea for over 200 years – the focal point for its 1,800 residents and 80,000 annual visitors. Historic Water Street is a part of the community of St. Andrews’ heart and identity. The pedestrian-oriented street integrates contextual urban design with open spaces and scenic views of the nearby sea. While the street’s design and architecture references the community’s over 200 years of history, the place itself has evolved to remain a daily part of residents' lives for both commercial and recreational purposes. The street is also an attraction for the community’s over 80,000 visitors each year. It houses well-frequented restaurants, shops, galleries, and other excursion opportunities. The street is also the backdrop for a weekly Farmers Market and hosts community events in all four seasons. We are located on downtown Water Street in the heart of St Andrews. Just next to the wharf and steps away from shopping and restuarants. Altough we are located in the heart of downtown, the Annex is located at the rear of the property is private and quiet. There is no onsite parking. We have offstreet parking available at no cost for our guests in a lot one block away. Free parking is available on the street and most of the time you will find parking in front of the building or near by (no further than you would typically have to walk from a standard hotel parking lot to your room) to load and unload. Because of this we we may not be suited for those with mobility or who travel with a lot of baggage. Please note that there is absolutely no access to the property from neighbouring properties' driveways for loading and unloading or parking. Please note that from November 15 - April 1, over night parking on streets is restricted from 2 am to 7 am for snow removal and use of our lot is provided at no cost. No pets - no exceptions. No children. There is no on-site parking and no access permitted to the property via the adjoining properties. Guests are respectfully asked to help us be good neighbours by not trespassing on the adjoining private properties. This is a no smoking (anything!) property - smoking or vaping not permitted inside or out.
