There are friendly cats + dog, alpaca, goats, aviary birds, geese, chooks and Honey, the horse to enjoy who loves lots of attention. The open plan living area opens up to a private verandah with comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy a BBQ. The place is self contained with a fully equipped kitchen + dining area and an exquisite lounge with Rimu floors and handmade rugs. It truly is a home away from home, just walk in and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have a big selection of books, puzzles, DVD's and CD's for those rainy days. It provides a homely atmosphere with 2 spacious bedrooms + 1 bathroom. An extra single bed can be placed in the lounge and or in the first bedroom if more than 4 people are staying. Horse riding can be arranged with the nearby horse trekking business. After riding you can relax in the natural hot pools or spa nearby. There are stunning coastal + bush walks + exciting jetboat rides. The exciting Whale Island Tours are very popular, there is a seal colony and you might see some dolphins or whales on the way out.
