Enjoy crystal clear Swan Lake with our kayaks, canoes, dock, float, back deck and fire pit. You'll see eagles, loons, gorgeous sunrise & sunsets. Forty-five minutes away is Camden, home of the schooners; while Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park is a scenic 90 minute drive. You can also take a ferry ride to several islands nearby. Explore the local fairs and the outdoor waterfront concert series in Bangor, then treat yourself to a fresh Maine lobster dinner on the harbor! Located on a quiet dirt road, this rustic lakeside cottage has charm to spare, with interior pine walls and a woodstove if things ever get chilly. It's fully furnished with two bedrooms, and a single bath. Sleeps five comfortably (plus a pullout couch if needed.) Guests have access to the entire cottage, front yard and lakeside swimming area with dock and float. We are always available via text and telephone for any questions or concerns you have. We live next door and can immediately address any urgent requests. 5 minutes from Swan Lake Grocery & Liquor Store, complete with adult beverages, sundries and gasoline. 15 minutes from Searsport Antiques, flea markets, and Young's Lobster Pound. There are many local restaurants in the vicinity as well. There is no public transportation in Swanville so you will need your own vehicle to get from place to place.
