Lovely and LARGE Layton Apartment Sleeps Six!

Includes WASHER AND DRYER! Sleep, dance, and play in this awesome basement apartment. Close to Salt Lake City, Layton LDS Temple, Lagoon, Antelope Island! Open kitchen/dance floor with DJ speakers to satisfy your mood. Two themed private bedrooms with queen and full-size beds, and one studio-style king-sized mattress. Cozy faux fireplace, so snuggle up and watch a movie. Washer/dryer, T.V., wifi, karaoke, games, mini-foosball, bathroom with tub and shower, and driveway parking. Turn on the disco lights and hook up your phone to a room with space for dancing. A traffic light changes from green, to yellow, to red. There's a themed dragon room and a themed Beatles/Broadway room. A story book nook doubles as a sleeping space. There's a sleep sounds machine provided in each room, coffee/hot chocoate Keurig in kitchen. Karaoke, mini-foosball, and board games for an entertaining evening. A full kitchen, two private bedrooms, a book nook mini-library and curtained off lounge. Cozy faux fireplace and an oversized beanbag. You will have a large private basement apartment that is not shared with anyone but your own group. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, living room, laundry, etc. are exclusively yours to use. However, the walkway to reach the front door of the apartment is a stairway inside our garage. You will enter a side door of our garage and descend 8 concrete steps to reach the basement apartment. The stairway is sectioned off from the rest of the garage with a divider. We cannot see you exiting or entering the stairway and don't use it while you're staying with us. Please view listing photos to see the layout. We live in the space above you. In most cases we can help with problems very quickly. The apartment is closed off and you will have total privacy during your stay. We aren't the kind of hosts who will bother or interrupt you. However, we're available if you need us. And you may see us coming/going in the driveway and we'll give you a wave! We are in a quiet, safe neighborhood near stores, parks, and restaurants. 2 blocks from Layton LDS Temple, 15 minutes from Lagoon Amusement Park, 15 minutes from Antelope Island, 5 minutes from the Shorelands Bird Preserve, 3 minutes from Surf-n-Swim wave pool, Layton Hills Mall, Cinemark /AMC theaters, Vietnam Memorial, and Adams Canyon. 10 minutes from Hill Air Force Base Museum, 30 minutes from Salt Lake City. We are one minute from a Smiths grocery store and three minutes from Antelope drive, where you will find myriads of all your favorite eating places. Frontrunner train station (local commuter hop-on/hop-off) is 5 minutes down the street, with UTA buses in same location. The freeway entrance is just a few minutes away. Two things to be aware of prior to booking: 1. As mentioned previously, you must traverse a small section of our garage to reach the apartment entrance. You will enter through a side door of our garage that leads down eight concrete steps to the apartment door. A divider sections off the walkspace from the main garage. This walkway is exclusively for your use, we can't see you and don't use the stairway while guests are staying here. Please view our listing photos so you understand the layout. Also, read our reviews - our guests have loved the apartment and haven't cared a bit about the garage entry. But we're giving you notice. We want to be honest and completely straightforward. 2. We (the homeowners) are living on the floor above you. You will hear sounds of life overhead because we live here. Think of it like staying with friends or family but with privacy. Most of the time it will be very calm and quiet, and if not, feel free to mesasge us with concerns. We're seeking a happy, considerate upstairs/downstairs living arrangement! Again, read our reviews. It's a very large space with a ton of amenities for a low price. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but we're confident you'll be happy. Just be aware of these two points when choosing whether or not to book.
