Secluded lakeside camp

Larger fishing boats can be easily launched by public ramp near by. 3 person canoe and flat bottom 10 ft (motorless)included. Boating not your thing? Sip coffee and read a book on the porch or hammock mere feet from water's edge. Enjoy the best hunting and ATVing northern Maine has to offer with immediate access to marked trails. Enjoy the privacy and freedom of the Maine woods, and bring your furry friends along. Our cabin offers two bedrooms, and futon to accommodate families and friends. Extra loft space will be available soon. Be aware this camp is OFF GRID. Water needs to be bucketed from lake. Lights are propane or rechargeable/battery operated. There is an outhouse, and outdoor showering enclosure with a Joolca on demand hot water heater(propane included). Requires a deep cycle battery or plug into car charging port to run pump. We have also incorporated a camping toilet with foot pump sink to be used inside for more weary and young travelers (must be emptied into outhouse upon leaving). Washing water comes from the lake, so you must BRING drinking water. But don't worry! You'll hardly be roughing it with propane lights, stove, gas grill and refrigerator, and hot shower (propane included). Watch the sun set from dock and porch with views of Katahdin in the distance. Take the edge off of chilly nights with the woodburning stove or camp fire. Sleep tight with the sound of the Loons echoing across the 1000 acre lake. Relax lakeside in the hammock, or toss horseshoes with the family. Explore the lake in included canoe and life jackets. Fishing poles also available for those with Maine fishing license. The Molunkus camps are private and not typically rented. This is an opportunity to enjoy one of Maine's best kept secrets. 20 minutes to Apple Gas station and Winn General Store. 40 minutes to Lincoln and all the amenities. Baxter state park and golf course all within reasonable driving distance. Camp Someday has it all but may be best enjoyed by those with AWD, love of the outdoors, and desire to get away from it all.
