Feed the eels at the bottom creek; head out for an evening flyfish in the world-renowned river 2 minutes walk at the bottom of the driveway; go for a hike in the Kahurangi National Park 15 minute drive up the back of the property; head out for a kayak from to Kaiteriteri 20 minute drive; explore the local mountain biking tracks; visit the local heritage pubs in the area; book a massage with the neighbouring therapist in the whitewashed straw-bale roundhouse by the walnut tree. There are so many relaxation and recreational options both on the property and in the local area you may just need to visit more than once, in more than 1 season.
