Converted Cellar Door Barn

Available for bespoke vacations is the previous Cellar Door luxuriously converted in a barn style. The building is free standing and totally self contained and consists of two independent suites (The Bellini and the Mimosa Suites). Each suite sleeps four adults (or 2 adults and 3 children) in the spacious loft room and ground floor accommodation. Each has an opulent bathroom with free standing soaker bath and separate shower recess. Also within each suite is a kitchenette complete with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The two suites are connected with a shared living/dining room with a full kitchen. The exquisite furnishings include a dining table that seats 8, comfortable lounges, breakfast bar and a stunning fireplace. The cathedral ceilings provide a sense of spaciousness. The long wide verandah has comfortable furniture ideal for relaxing with a coffee or an afternoon drink as you look out over the idyllic countryside. In addition to the barn, the Timbertop Suite (located within the main lodge) offers additional accommodation for two. This stunning room has exceptional views across the lake towards Mt Timbertop. It offers a king size bed and a spacious bathroom with twin shower heads and spa bath. Adjacent to the suite is the huge lodge living room with open fireplace , hand carved dining table and baby grand piano, as well as the billiard room and library. Altitude221 is surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty within a unique ecosystem home to an incredible variety of native flora and fauna. In Winter, the view of snow capped Mt Timbertop is visible from the lodge verandah as sundowners of sparkling wine produced from the established vineyard grapes is enjoyed. Black Angus cows graze with calves at foot, kangaroos hop across the fields at dusk and kookaburras can be heard chuckling in the pin oak trees at day break. The property is 15 minutes from the tourist hub of Mansfield, close to Lake Eildon, (Australia's largest freshwater playground where recreational boating activities abound) several national parks and the Mt Buller snow fields at 1805m. Whether you're here for a relaxing escape or adventure in the outdoors, there is lots on offer.
