Cottage sleeps 7 - 2mins away from Thornton Beach

This Cottage is a 100 year old, newly renovated 3 bedroom house located on a dairy farm in Thornton. Cottage can sleep up to 7 people. The 8th bed is in the sunroom, which is to be used in the summer months. Horse holding paddock available if traveling with a horse. Travelers must provide own feed. Beautiful riding location down Thornton beach. Additional charge of $10 per night per horse. A lockable garage is available for gear. Boat parking can be in the adjacent paddock or on driveway. Small boats can fit up driveway and larger boats can enter via paddock to driveway. The cottage is 2 minutes from beach access, being down Walkers Access or Thornton Domain. 15 minute drive into Whakatane township. Thornton Beach provides some of the best conditions for surfcasting fishing and family fun. The cottage has 1x toilet room and bathroom including a bath/shower. Washing machine and wash tub is available in laundry. The cottage has a deck with outdoor furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Lawns and landscaping are tidy. The lounge has a brand new fire place with all fire wood provided for duration of stay. Beds are all made up with fresh linen and towel package available on request. Tea/hand towels and bathroom floor mats are provided. Extras: Towel package - $6 per person This includes, towel and facecloth. Towel package is paid separately and is provided on request. Platters: morning tea or afternoon platters are available on request for small parties up to 10 people. These have to be pre ordered prior to arrival.
