We'd like to think you will inhale the country air and exhale the stresses of life as you come up the driveway to this vineyard retreat. The Vineyard Shed has been given a face-lift and is the ideal location for a weekend retreat. You will reluctantly leave at the end of your stay knowing more about the world of grape growing and having experienced a truly laid back stay in the wonderful Waipara valley. There are plenty of attractions close by. Explore the many wineries open in the valley, experience the famous Waipara Valley Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, or if you want something more physical there are some great coastal and hill top walks to be done in the area. We are half-way between Hanmer Springs and Christchurch, so an ideal stop over point if you want to travel in the slow lane. This is the closest accommodation to Waipara Hills winery, the scene for summer music concerts for the last few years. Park your car here, and walk across the road to the concerts, and wander back later that night. The unit is fully self-contained with the ability for guests to use the microwave and/or hob to cook meals if you choose.
