Welcome to your home away from home in Akron! This duplex is located in a safe residential neighborhood, a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown, including Akron University campus, Cleveland Clinic and Summa Health. Throughout this Covid period, I use a professional cleaner to disinfect all surfaces in between guests. Entire first floor is yours with private entrance, off street parking and laundry available. Fast wifi for work from home professionals too! You will be staying in the comfort of a first floor 1 bed / 1 bath, with full kitchen, living room and dining room. Full access to washer/dryer in the basement. Wifi and smart TV (for those Netflix binge watchers), kitchen appliances, queen sized bed, and much much more! Feel free to ask any questions, I am always happy to make you feel at home. Guests have the entire first floor to themselves. I live upstairs when I am not traveling for work. I send a numeric passcode to enter which will be your key throughout your stay. Contact me any time by phone so I can answer your questions. I’m happy to meet all of my guests, but if you have any concerns about covid I will respectfully leave you to your privacy. If I am not available for your arrival, the front door uses a smart lock so I will send you a pass code for keyless entry (which also means you don't have to worry about losing the key!). One block away from a small park, this peaceful neighborhood lies just outside the hustle and bustle of city life. All within an 8 minute drive: 3 grocery stores, Target, Best Buy, TJMaxx, and many fast food and sit down restaurants. This is in a residential family neighborhood so peace and quiet is always appreciated. Great place for any medical students or professionals attending Cleveland Clinic or Summa Health. Not too much within walking distance, but if you're without a car then hop on the bus that stops just one block away. Have a car? Everything you need is within 10 minutes, literally. Cuyahoga National Park is a 10-15min drive depending which trails you’re looking for. Akron is a fun and funky place, enjoy exploring it! I allow one car in the driveway and one street parking spot. Will need to park all cars in the driveway Sunday evenings (for Monday trash pickup) and any time snow plows come through. Please let me know if bringing a pet!
