The house is set within the grounds of Hatherton Lodge, a grade II listed manor house set in 100 acres of private parkland setting. Believed to have been built in the late 18th century. The property was the seat of John Twemlow, who testified in the celebrated Mary Malpas murder case, and was the seat of the Barony which became extinct in 1918. The house is a tastefully modern and an impeccable country retreat which makes it an attractive, light and comfortable holiday home.
