Hamar House - Tiny House Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Escape into nature at our cosy tiny house retreat. Enjoy chocolates and a bottle of wine on arrival. Relax in complete privacy while taking in the stunning views of the Gold Coast skyline. Backing onto Wildlife Conservation Forest, you’ll wake up to birds singing, kangaroos on your doorstep and hundreds of acres to explore. Unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a glass of wine by the fire, and star gaze into the night. Wood is provided complimentary. New: Air-conditioner and solar panels installed. Our tiny house is clean and cosy - with everything you'll need for an escape into nature. - Cosy sleeping loft with gorgeous views - Kitchen including fridge, gas stove top, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and all kitchen plates/utensils - Huge couch to sink into at the end of the day - Work bench with handy power points - Bathroom with a rain shower (and rain water) and eco-friendly composting toilet - Large deck with dining table, swing chair and deck chairs There is a fire pit and hot tub that is exclusively for your use. Wood provided free of charge. Hamar House is nestled on a large acreage property, backing onto national forest. You'll have complete privacy, just a few kangaroos hopping about. The host's cottage is 100m away. You are welcome to explore the property, we have 3 dams, cute picnic spots and a kayak for your use. We live on the property so if you need anything, just let us know and we're not far away. When you arrive, there is a designated parking space for you. You will then take a golf buggy up to the top of the hill where the tiny house awaits. We are set up with a self-checkin process to give you flexibility, but if you need anything there will always be someone on the property so just send me a message. You may see me (from a distance) out in my garden during the day, feel free to pop down and say hi if you like! We are located in Bonogin Valley (10 minutes inland from the M1). Burleigh Beach is 25 minutes away. Byron Bay is 1 hour and 15 minutes drive. Mudgeeraba is the closest town to us with plenty of cafes and restaurants (and all your essentials; groceries, massage, petrol, doctor, pharmacy etc). It's a 10 minute drive away. If you prefer to stay close, we have a lovely local cafe serving good coffee (20 minutes walk or a 2 minute drive). There is a ladder going up to the sleeping loft. If you're not good with stairs or have small children, we don't recommend staying at the tiny house. Heads up: The only way to get up to the tiny house is via a golf buggy. It's easy to drive and a bit of an adventure! Just follow the red arrows to the top. You can then use the buggy as you need during your stay. If you would prefer not to drive the buggy, just let us know and our bush concierge will be at the ready.
