Elegant, modernised Maison de Maitre

This elegant Maison de Maitre was originally built in the late 19th century and was extended and completely modernised in 2007. Since then the owners have added a tennis court and a heater has been installed in the pool. Standing completely in its own grounds there is ample room to relax or be active (sports equipment in the garage is available for your use). The house is approached via it own drive and there is ample space for guests' cars. St Abit is a quiet rural location but is nicely positioned. The market town of Nay is just a 5 minute drive, the ancient city of Pau is 25 minutes away, whilst access to the beautiful Pyrenees mountains is around 40 minutes. The house will be managed by a local English person (fluent French speaker) who will be available by telephone during your stay and to meet and greet you on arrival One of our favourite places is Le Lac de Baudreix where there are wakeboarding opportunities and water jumping opportunities for the adventurous. There is also a bar and restaurant overlooking the lake.
