Under an hour from Toulouse airport & the Pyrenees, and within walking distance of a sleepy picturesque market town, this well-loved, spacious family home, with its pool, shady terrace, huge garden, cool interiors, toys, games, and large choice of days out & activities has plenty to ensure a happy holiday for you and your group in a peaceful & pretty setting. With up to 8 double beds, 3 cots & highchairs it can comfortably welcome all-adult groups as well as young families. Our house is perfect for group get-togethers, as we can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 20 people in 10 spacious bedrooms with 5 to 8 double beds and 5 to 11 single beds. As a family home, it is completely furnished with everything you will need for a comfortable home stay, and has a 4 star rating as a 'meublé de tourisme'. Entirely surrounded by the rolling countryside of South West France, with the Pyrenees shimmering in the distance, the house is nestled in a one acre park, walking distance from the old market town of L'Isle en Dodon. Rental includes the main house and annexe 2-bedroomed gîte, attached to the main building with a separate entrance. Bedding, end of stay cleaning, and shower towels are provided. You will have the entire property to yourselves. There are 5 separate sleeping areas, 1 bathroom, 4 shower rooms. WEEKEND BOOKINGS from 5pm Friday until 5pm Sunday (or bank holiday Mondays). The garage, attic spaces and laundry room are not accessible. If we are not available to help you out during your stay, we will ensure that someone is on hand to help you with any queries or problems (English and French speaking). Whether you want to hike up mountains, relax in an unspoilt French village with a glass of rosé, shop until you drop in Toulouse or just relax by the pool all day, there is something here for you. Charlotte (the host) can suggest lots of different activities all year round for birthday weekends, corporate retreats... as well as caterers if required. The Pyrenees are within driving distance, and the pretty town of Samatan is only a 15-minute drive, with its nationally renowned bustling Monday market and leisure lake with waterslides, sandy beach, and mini-golf. The world-famous Jazz Festival In Marciac (27 July - 16 August) is just an hour away. We are a 50 minute drive from Toulouse Blagnac airport, 1h45 from Carcassonne airport. There is a bus that goes to and from central Toulouse but we would strongly recommend having your own transport, as there is so much to do and see in the area. A taxi from the airport to the house costs approximately 80€ if you order it from an Isle-en-Dodon taxi company. The weather in this part of France stays warm and sunny well into September/October. The ski resorts are usually open from around December until March. The nearest is a 1h20 minute drive from the house.
