Casa do Rio - Beach and Mountains

If you like nature then this is the right place. An old stone house refurbished with modern yet cosy style. Close to Serra d’Arga (mountain) and Ancora River passing along the house making a beautiful natural pool with crystal clear water. Please make sure to read all items and rules of the house to avoid unwanted reservations. Most of the basic information is bellow, for doubts you may contact us by message. The connection of the house to the river makes this place unique. There is a trail straight from the doorstep that allows you to go hiking to the closeby mountains. Also about 30 min walk, you can find the “Pincho” waterfalls where you can spend the day bathing and sunbathing. If you are a beach lover, you can reach the shore by car within 15/20 minutes. For surf, kitte surf, Stand up paddle, or other sports, please just ask me! Let me know what would you like to do during your stay! The guests will have full access to the house, garden and river. The acess to the river is public, other people can swim in, usually local people. There is no internet or TV connection but you can watch like the "old times" one of the DVD's from our collection. There is also a sound system where you can play CD’s. I live nearby around 15mn far from the house. Check-in is donne either by Rui or Rosali I will provide all information and support you need to make your stay perfect and that you feel like home! For babys we provide a travel bed. Only the sheets and towels are not included for babies under 2 years, it is best for them to use their own, the washing products can be harmful for your baby. There are no grosseries or supermarket on the neighborhood, the nearest is around 20mn drive.
