You’ll love my place because of the peace and tranquility of the rural setting yet be within easy access of all main attractions. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families Thyme cottage is located on the outskirts of Falmouth in a rural setting enjoying sea glimpses. This recently modernised barn conversion is the ultimate in peace & tranquility, you can either remain in doors and enjoy the light and airy spaces, cook a meal in the well appointed kitchen or cosy up by the log burner whilst reading a book or listening to your favourite tunes. Alternatively you can enjoy the out door space, the garden is dived into 3 areas - The patio, including BBQ, furniture, sunshade and fire pit - The Thyme and Rose garden, an area ideally suited for the 3R's, resting, relaxing and reflecting - The Lawn, ideal for picnics or just soaking up the sun. If you fancy venturing outdoors, Thyme cottage is ideally situated, - Numerous beaches with the closest being less than a 10 min drive away - National trust attractions within 5 miles - Miles of coastal walks - A wide range of water sports from diving, paddle-boarding, sailing, surfing, kayaking, coasteering and fishing available for novice to expert all within the local area - The vibrant maritime town of Falmouth is within 10 mins drive, boasting many award winning restaurants and fine dining and the national Maritime Museum The key to the property will be in a secure box by the door, you will be emailed the security code before you arrive. You will have free undisturbed access to the entire house during your stay. Either Craig or Janet will meet within a few hours of your arrival to provide you with a guided tour of the property if you have and to answer any questions you may have about the property and the local area. Although we are in the house next door and we are available to answer any question we will not disturb you during your visit The best way to see the area is on a map in satellite view, you will instantly see the location is ideally situated in its rural location but in close proximity to Falmouth The main way to get around is by car but the bus route into Falmouth is a 20 min walk, alternatively the quiet backroads to Falmouth are ideally suited to cycling Your experience at Thyme cottage is important to us and we are keen that you get the full Cornish experience. On arrival you will be given a pack containing maps and local area information, we are also available to provide advice on the local area. We also offer Kayak hire with paddles and buoyancy aid with delivery and pick up service at very reasonable prices along with the opportunity to purchase fresh eggs (laid by our own chicken) and replenish your logs
