Casa Majella. Country House, National Park

Cosy original country house w/ porch, terrace, lawn and olive grove barely 5 mins away from Serramonacesca and San Liberatore a Majella. From here, you can go visit the beautiful surroundings, take a walk on the 'tratturo' (historical sheep track) right alongside our lawn, or go trekking/hiking/skiing/mtbiking/climbing in the Majella National Park or else get in 30 mins to the sunny adriatic shore...or you can also just wander through our olive grove for some inspiration and insight :-) 'Casa Majella' is an original italian country house. Back in the days, it was my mother's family of origin (Website hidden by Airbnb) 2014, my husband Guglielmo from Rome came to visit the place and fell in love with it so that we decided to renovate it, starting a new family story. The house has 2 double bedrooms: 'La Presentosa', with adjoined terrace for relaxing open-air full-view breakfasts and 'Cuore d'Abruzzo', with a wonderful view right on Serramonacesca and San Liberatore a Majella. There also are two full bathrooms with shower, a quiet studio with desk and a sofa, a living room with an open fireplace and beautiful authentic white stone walls, a eat-in kitchen with fridge+owen and adjoined porch. Right out of the house, you'll find a green relaxing lawn and our olive grove you can wander (Website hidden by Airbnb) case you do, please wear proper shoes, for the olive grove stretches on characteristic steep slopes, which make the local landscape look so vibrant and powerful. For the same reason and due to the positioning of the house and its features, we highly do recommend that children coming to 'Casa Majella' are at least 4+ and always under adult supervision, both inside and outside the house I'll be glad to give you any information you need about the sorroundings, points of interest, shops, pub/restaurants and side activities/experiences. 'Casa Majella' is just alongside an historical walkable 'tratturo' (sheep track) and only 5 mins away from Serramonacesca, the abbey of San Liberatore a Majella and the evocative banks of the river Alento; it also is very close to the suggestive Castel Menardo. Nearby, you can also find the beautiful Santa Maria Arabona cistercian abbey and the Santo Spirito a Majella hermitage. In a short while, you can also reach the Majella National Park to go trekking/hiking/skiing/mtbiking/climbing, or else get to the sunny adriatic sea/shores
