Bay Area Cozy Cottage Hideaway

Our lovely cottage is ready and perfectly located to explore the Bay Area or catch a flight in or out. This peaceful space has a comfy queen bed and a fold down sofa-futon, best utilized for a child or teenager. There is a kitchenette equipped and BBQ grill available for your use. We are conveniently located near the two main highways linking all East Bay destinations. Oakland Coliseum+Oracle Arena (15 min), Lake Chabot (10 min), Oakland-Jack London Sqr (25 min), San Francisco-downtown (40 min). If you are a sports & concert fan we are close to the Oracle, The Oakland Coliseum, AT&T Park, and Levi Stadium (45 min) Kayaking and cycling are available nearby at Jack London Square in Oakland. Our cottage is private, clean, simple and relaxing. Our outdoor patio space is available for you to use. This is a shared space with the residents, but let us know if you need privacy, we can accommodate in most cases. You have the entire driveway for safe, off street parking during your stay. We live in the main house and are available to help with needs, forgotten items, directions, and things to make your experience great. Our dear family friend Bob lives with us, so he is around to help if needed as well. He’s retired, born and raised in the Bay Area and can usually come up with a good local suggestion. We will give you all the privacy you wish in order for you to enjoy yourself while staying in our accommodations. San Leandro is a large suburban town in Alameda County. It is located on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, between Oakland to the northwest and Hayward to the southeast. We are close to both the Oakland airport (15 min) and the San Francisco airport(25 min), Bayfair BART station is a mile from our home and can take you to San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley and so many more places here in the Bay Area. Our house is close to highway entrances and BART public transportation (1.5 miles) where you can park and commute over to San Francisco and many points of interest in the Bay Area... There is a gas BBQ grill always ready for you to fire up and use if you are in the mood - just wipe down the grill and return it to the same conditions you found it. Enjoy!
