Bob Turner’s Track: Located in Colo, this is a return walk to the Hawkesbury River, offering a secluded place to swim or have a picnic – about two hours of walking Scribbly Gum Forest Track to Rainforest Walk: This is an easy 4.5km loop in Cattai national park West Portland Road Lookout: Drive to the end of Bull Ridge road and proceed to turn left onto Portland Road, about a minute’s drive down that road turn right onto a dirt entrance, here is a picnic area which offers a look out over the Hawkesbury River as well as some trails that branch off from there. Mount Banks: If you wish to travel a bit up the mountains the Mount Banks National Park offers a lovely trip up to the top of the mountain – depending on what path you take it’ll be a 3 to 4 hour walk. As you will be travelling through Bilpin to get there make sure to stop for an apple pie!
