Ground floor 1 bed apartment. Beautifully refurbished, containing everything for an enjoyable stay. Part of an old watermill in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the medieval market town of Ruthin. A number of pubs and restaurants are a stroll or a short taxi ride away. Takeaways are available and some deliver. Convenient for all of North Wales, Snowdonia, Angelsea and Chester. Dog friendly walks about. We have other cottages available- link at the bottom of my profile. The ground floor apartment is accessed via a private enclosed garden, with outdoor patio furniture. The Spacious Kitchen/Living/Diner gives fantastic views across an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and there is a 50" Smart TV for those cozy nights in. A particular feature is the bathroom, with tower shower and anti-fog illuminated mirror with shaving point. A bedroom with a king sized bed and a dressing table is the icing on the cake! There is also a communal garden terrace to the rear of the property, with viewing chalets which provide stunning views of the countryside - check out the photos! Curlew's Nest is in the middle of the countryside, but also only a 15min flat walk along safe country lanes from the Medieval Market Town of Ruthin. Ruthin is the principle Town in the area and is steeped in History. Reginald de Grey built Ruthin Castle in the 12th Century and the town has now grown in to a bustling market centre, with many boutique shops and pubs. Why not stroll in to town and lose yourself in the winding lanes, or discover a pub garden in one of the many independent pubs in the town? There are also plenty of hiking and walking trails in the area, and the Llangollen heritage railway is only a 15min drive away! Further afield Chester is 30mins by car, and Liverpool is 45mins.
