Studio Over the Creek
Our studio is in a bucolic setting, near the historic Carversville village that hasn’t changed since the 1800s. The peacefulness of our cozy studio 6/10 mile from the village situated on a secluded tree-lined road is extremely popular for walkers, runners and bikers. Perched high above a gurgling creek in a wooded setting, rock in the motion chair on the deck, while sipping coffee and enjoying the spectacular view. Our studio is one large, comfortable and cozy space; it is a bedroom, living room and kitchen all in one with a private bath and deck overlooking the creek. For sleeping there is a very comfy queen and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Although we recommend 2 guests, 2 more can sleep comfortably on the queen sofa pull-out. Studio Amenities include large bar with sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee/tea pot and cable TV. Guests can enjoy our little paradise and stroll the garden, sway on the bench swing, lounge in the adirondack chairs on the infinity deck and make a fire in the fire pit. Walk down to the creek... we have another deck and bench swing. If you'd like to sit in the creek we happily provide chairs. We love socializing but we will respect your privacy. If you have any questions about the area or are looking for things to do, just give us a buzz. We are a short escape from Philadelphia and NYC. (50 minutes - 1.5 hours) and a 12 minute drive to bustling river towns: New Hope, Lambertville and Stockton. Lahaska and Doylestown are close by too! They offer everything from a quaint movie theatre, museums, art galleries, casual and fine dining, shopping and much more. Near the studio everybody’s favorite is the Carversville Kitchen, a .7 mile walk (or drive) along the creek. A short drive or walk on our peaceful, tree-lined road towards the river is the Lumberville General Store and the Black Bass Inn, one of the best restaurants in the area. Both sit on the towpath, popular for bikers and walkers. Uber and Lyft are available here. Our area is known for its wonderful biking and hiking along the river. The towpath is a unique feature that runs along both sides of the Delaware. Every few miles on either side there’s another historic rivertown to enjoy. Lots of antiquing and great restaurants. We have a link to some fine restaurants ... 4 of them are within walking distance!
