Lovely bright & airy double room in a beautifully period restored and modernised home. King-size farmhouse bed, antique hanging wardrobe and bedside storage with bathroom inc shower just off it. The room overlooks pretty gardens and is bright & sunny as south facing. The room has fast WiFi & workdesk, HD streaming TV & Netflix. Fresh towels & bedding always provided. The house is located on peaceful up-scale tree-lined residential road with ample free on-street parking directly outside. The house has been tastefully renovated and furnished to very high standard with antique and modern touches - the house is bright and airy with sunny south-facing gardens. There is even a garden bar and comfy hammock for use in the warmer months! This is a professional and friendly child and pet-free household - a peaceful and relaxing space with a wide array of local amenities a stones throw away. Gardens, Patio & bar area Welcoming, friendly but infrequent as it's only me that lives here and I am often not at home. I can usually meet on arrival and upon departure you can post the keys back inside. My mobile phone is also on 24-hours if needed. A perfect location in a highly sought after, quiet and cosmopolitan tree-lined residential neighbourhood. Carrington is a hidden gem and is an up-scale locale with a great cultural mix of people. Very close to Sherwood's vibrant Mansfield Road, with a wide array of shops, bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away. Ample free on-street parking is available The city centre is a simple half-hour walk away or typically a £5 taxi or a cheap 8 minute bus bus ride from nearby Mansfield Road. Extremely frequent public transport is available less than 5 minutes walk away - taking you directly into the city centre in a few minutes. I only rent out one room via Airbnb so no other guests will ever be present during your stay. Please can you remove footwear before going upstairs Guests are welcome to use the kitchen equipment - microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, crockery and cutlery but use of the stove and oven is restricted to only very light cooking/heating up of food - so please no heavy frying/boiling or baking etc Please do not put wet plates, crockery or hot pots/pans etc on the wooden worktops in the kitchen as this will damage the surfaces - there is a metal draining rack in the sink for these. For security reasons only booked guests will be allowed on the premises
