Large, bright & airy duplex flat in hip West Didsbury! With two bedrooms and large lounge/dining area with piano (!) this spot is the perfect base for your stay in Manchester. With transport links that take you to the city centre in 20 minutes stay in Manchester's hippest suburb and explore our little community! Parking is free on-street but can get a little busy at peak times I will be around the area if needed, the landlord lives in the flat downstairs too should there be an emergency. West Didsbury's Burton Road is a hive of indie businesses, from cool bars (Folk//Volta) to restaurants (Great Kathmandu for a curry, Proove for a wood fired pizza), brunch spots (Another Heart to Feed), cake shops (Dish & Spoon) to clothes shops (Steranko!) it's got everything you need :) Burton Road tram stop is a short 3-4minutewalk away that takes you directly into Manchester City Centre in 20 minutes, Trafford Bar for Man United games, Media City and further afield. The airport is a £15/18 minute taxi ride away and Piccadilly station is a £12/25 minute taxi away (both easiest options if a couple of you and with luggage) Airport (no.43) buses run 365 days a year from a stop just round the corner as do buses to the hospitals and Universities. Very convenient motorway links if you're driving too from the M56/M60 and on street parking available.
