Cosy self catering cottage for two in a charming village with good amenities. It has stunning views over the Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak National Park. Our 17thC. cottage has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. The area is great for walking with trails starting from the door, good places to eat from Michelin to local pubs and lots of things to see. Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton are nearby; and there are good connections to Manchester and Sheffield. Small but perfectly formed self-catering cottage for 2. Kitchen facilities : 4 ring ceramic hob, microwave /combi oven,fridge.Please note : There is no washing machine. The cottage is totally private with own front door and pretty patio at rear of the cottage,making it a peaceful haven. We, the owners live next door to the cottage and can offer any help needed during your stay.Sorry but we do not accept pets. Stoney Middleton is a typical country village with pub and local amenities. It is ideally placed as the base for walking, touring the beauty spots of Peak District or a day trip to Sheffield or Manchester. We love the place for its position, but mostly for the wonderful landscape. Buses to Buxton, Sheffield & Matlock in the village. Train to Manchester & Sheffield at Grindleford. Parking adjacent to the cottage. Sorry but we do not accept pets.
