Burton House - on the seawall in Robin Hood's Bay

Burton House is a cosy 18th Century holiday cottage located 5 meters from the seawall at the top of King street and Chapel Street in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay . The house is packed full of traditional Victorian features and home comforts. The back of the house faces the sea and provides direct sea views from a number of small windows including the infamous "loo with a view". The beach, pubs, shops and cafes are a 2 minute walk along family friendly paths. Burton House comfortably sleeps five (4 adults max) in two large bedrooms. The top floor bedroom contains a double bed and the first floor bedroom contains a bunk bed and a single bed. Note that the top bunk is for child use only . A travel cot, high chair and changing mat are also available for guests use. We provide all bed linen which will be fitted to beds prior to guest arrival. We also provide hand towels,tea towels soap,and a starter toilet roll. PLEASE NOTE that guests are asked to bring their own bath towels. The house has full central heating and unlimited hot water for those baths (or shower) after a long walk on the beach or coastal path. Burton House has a parking permit for Bay Bank and Station council car parks. We are sorry but we do not currently accommodate pets. Burton House has spiral staircases and some low beams and high ceilings! The beach is one of the best beaches for kids, walking and seal watching Get around by foot in the village. Explore the wider area by car, cycle, bus or train! Our changeover days are normally Friday and Monday We limit the number of adult guests to 4. We provide all bed linen which will be fitted to beds prior to guest arrival. We also provide hand towels and tea towels but guests are asked to bring their own bath towels.
