Bluegums Cabins - The Possum Cabin

The Possum Cabin is a beautiful private cabin set in the foothills of the Barrington Tops National Park near Dungog. The cabin has everything you need to help you relax and recharge. All linen and towels and provided so all you need to bring is your food. (There's a well equipped kitchen and bbq) Relax by the fire, in the 4 poster bed or in the double spa bath. There are hammocks on the covered deck so you can enjoy the visiting wildlife (wallabies and king parrots are regulars). The cabin has wooden floorboards, stained glass windows, a 4 poster bed and double spa bath. The deck has a hammock, perfect for soaking up the sights and sounds of the bush. * We have a 3 night minimum stay for Long Weekends Guests have the entire cabin to themselves. There is also a salt water swimming pool and tennis court which is shared with other guests. We totally respect your privacy so you may not see us atall but if you need to we are not far away. We are right at the end of Chichester Dam Rd so you are surrounded by the beautiful Australian bush. There are many beautiful walks and trails nearby and maps and directions are supplied. We are a 20 mon drive from the friendly country town of Dungog which has a well stocked IGA supermarket, a providores, great antique shops and Art Galleries. The Tin Shed Brewery is also a new addition to the town which is a micro brewery that also does food. Although Dungog has a train station our cabins are a 20 min drive away so a car is recommended. The Possum has everything you need for a peaceful stay. There is a kitchen with a gas cooktop and microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a Webber Q bbq on your deck. All you need to bring is your food.
