Rurally set, converted farm Shippon sleeping 4
The Shippon, is one of three holiday cottages in our stone built, converted farm buildings. Surrounded by fields and open mountain, which can be explored from the doorstep. The cottage has high vaulted ceilings making it very light and airy but still a cosy place to stay. There is a well equipped kitchen with dining table. A mezzanine level provides a perfect location for the king sized bed. Rurally located but close to the A55 giving access to the best North Wales has to offer. Car essential. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. The bathroom has a large P shaped bath with shower over. The kitchen has a dishwasher to give more time doing what you enjoy. The cottage has WiFi should you need to keep in touch with the outside world. Can be booked with the adjoining Dairy and Bullroom to provide accommodation for 9. The cottage is located adjacent to our garden, and we are on hand if there is anything you need. Rhes-y-cae is located on Halkyn Mountain, a site of special scientific interest. The mountain is owned by the Duke of Westminster and sheep roam freely. While there are no immediate amenities, our local service station is 4 miles away and has a well stocked shop selling local produce. We have a number of local pubs serving real ale and homemade food. Our local town of Mold has the usual supermarkets, along with banks, cafes and restaurants. Theatre Clwyd in Mold is an excellent venue for live theatre and cinema. We are rurally located with no public transport so a car is essential.
