Lili Wen Farm - double room in farmhouse

Lili Wen Farm (snow drop farm) is set in beautiful countryside just a short distance from the A470 with easy access by car from the M4 and surrounding areas. We are 14 miles north of Cardiff and 30 miles south of the heart of the Brecon Beacons. We offer a double room in our family home; a farmhouse set in 40 acres, nestled in the hills; a place of peace and calm. Lili Wen Farm is our family home which we share with 11 horses/ponies; three pet dogs; a pet sheep who thinks he is a dog; two pet lambs with special needs; two pet ducks and a pet cat. All the animals are friendly and love to come for a fuss or some food. We are a family of three adults but the farm is a fun and welcoming place for children too. There may be the possibility for an extra single mattress to be put in the room on request. Lili Wen has 40 acres of fields, woods and a stream. It is a beautiful place where you can walk or just sit and contemplate. Nestled in the hills between Pontypridd and Caerphilly there are plenty of walks from the farm and the Brecon Beacons are an easy 30 miles. The Llanfabon Inn is within easy walking distance and here you can enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal. Llechwen Hall is a little further where you can book in for a delicious lunch, evening meal or afternoon tea. Cardiff City Centre is 14 miles from the farm along the A470 or the local train line. Here you will find all the attractions of a vibrant city including nightlife; shopping; theatres; restaurants; museums and much more. Guests at Lili Wen Farm will have their own double bedroom and sole use of a small sitting room if they wish. All the other rooms in the house are shared except the owners' bedrooms and the upstairs office which are private. The shared areas include a large living/dining area; kitchen; upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Outside the farmyard accommodates parking as required. There are animals wandering so please drive with care. Guests are welcome to interact with the animals on the farm with the owners' guidance. Wellies are a good idea although there is an entrance where you will not need to walk on the yard. However, it is a farm with everything that comes with it! We are a friendly family and our guests are welcome to socialise with us, however, there is a small sitting room that they are also welcome to use. Breakfast is available on most days at an extra cost. £10 per person for a cooked breakfast; £6 per person for a continental style breakfast. Please let us know in advance if you would like breakfast and if you have any special dietary requirements.
