If you need a place to stay in Turin, not far from the city center but in a quiet and farmy location, I propose a nice cozy flat, able to host up to 5/6 people, at the first floor af a 18th century country house with a beautiful garden in front. The apartment is composed by a room with a double bed, a single room, a dining room with fireplace and a comfortable double sofa bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Available appliances are (kitchen) washingmachine , big fridge with freezer, a oven, cattle, iron (dining room) 32” LCD TV with sat receiver (free), (bathroom) hairdryer The house is nearby the Park of the Superga hillside, about 20 min. from city center by car (which is almost necessary, indeed). COnsider that to get to the house you have to pass upon a small bridge. In order to visit Turin it may be opportune to leave the car nearby (c/o “Sassi” area) where there is huge availability of free park places and take there a bus line (61 or 68) or a tram (15) going downtown. During the day you normally have to wait no more than 5 min. for one of them to pass and they take about 20 min to get the city center. It takes 5 min by car to get to “Sassi” by car (or 20 min by feet, if you so wish, a nice walk anyway, if weather is good..). In the surroundings nice walks can be made, uphill towards the Superga Church, trough the several paths existing in the woods, while through the national road near to the house (SS10), going the opposite direction of Turin center you can reach in 30'-45' Monferrato, Roero e Langhe, renowned for wine and food specialities. If you like mountains, in about one hour by car you can get several alpine spots and parks. The house is in Turin, at the foot of the Superga hill park, 20 minutes from the center (by car, which is practically necessary). To get to the house you have to cross a small bridge.
