Unique house in the heart of Beaujolais region

An authentic traditional house perfectly located in a beautiful small village, surrounded by Beaujolais vineyards. The ideal place to discover and enjoy this region full of history, tradition and great food & wine. The house is a unique property built in the 19th century that still features some original parts (old stone floor, original front door with a stone dating fro 1675 - see pictures). With a great garden and a private court, it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time in a small village. The house has two floors with the kitchen and living room on the bottom part. The three bedrooms (2 beds in each room) and the bathroom/toilets are located on the top floor with windows and views on the garden. 6 people will fit comfortably and a spare bed can be added if needed. Guests will have access to all the house amenities: kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, TV in the living room, garden, inner court,... We will welcome you warmly and would be glad to show you the surroundings in the village. We can also recommend a few day trips and some wine tasting places. Located 40 km from Lyon, Ternand is a beautiful hilltop village in the heart of the Beaujolais region. Sometimes called the little French Toscana because of its hilly landscape, the area has a lot to offer: discover the vineyards and the welcoming wine-growers producing Beaujolais and Gamay wines, walk in the Golden Stones villages around or enjoy the nature with lots of woods, rivers and lakes close by. Lyon is also not far away, making it a convenient to reach the city, main train station and airport. Ternand is close from the main cities of Lyon (approx. 45 min by car) and Geneva (approx. 2h by car). Local trains are also passing by although there is a 2km walk from the station to the house (the station is located on the bottom of the hill) It is conveniently located in the middle of the different Beaujolais villages, most of them being a short drive away.
