Experience the peace and serenity of this magical property! Centrally located in the Verde Valley & situated in the heart of wine country, this charming rural cottage hideaway offers vast panoramic vistas and expansive sky and mountain views. It's an ideal getaway to experience beauty, relaxation, and a place to decompress from everyday life. Here, you will find an orchard, vegetable and wildflower garden, in addition to a beautiful sunset patio (with a glass of wine in hand perhaps?) : ) Some things to consider... +"Opal," the house-kitty, enjoys frequenting the property; don't be too surprised to make her acquaintance, she's a sweetheart. + It is "the country" - please be observant of potential bugs and reptiles. + Entire 2+ acres + Orchard and various gardens + Horse barn patio Owner resides on property in Main house and is available to share her knowledge should you desire any information about what the area offers. If we happen to be outside at the same time I will engage in a conversation. Should you want to engage please let me know via text or Airbnb. ** I do maintain a strict no pets policy simply because my cat, who wanders the full property, is and has been terrorized by dogs and I simply can't put her through that sort of emotional stress. Thank you for understanding! The property is peaceful and quiet. It's part of a rural community and is surrounded by 2 acre parcels which tend to have every variety of farm animals. Don't be surprised to hear or see horses, cows, chickens or even ducks on occasion. Just down the road, there are local services available - a few restaurants (really quite good food), post office, dollar mart, as well as 2 gas stations. Also, take a scenic drive down Page Springs Road, five minutes away, where you will find 2+ wineries, "Up the Creek Grille" - which overlooks the Oak Creek River, and a Trout Farm. This road ends in a junction at 89A which will take you to Sedona or Cottonwood. Cottonwood is where you will find Fry's, Safeway, Walmart, banking as well as many restaurants. Old Town Cottonwood is a lovely place to visit. You will find interesting shops as well as delicious places to eat and taste wine. Crema for breakfast and lunch and the Tavern for lunch and dinner are my favorites. Driving will get you there in about 15 minutes. Turn left on the Cornville Rd. which will take you to 89A then left toward Cottonwood. Personal vehicle transportation is suggested. The property is on septic, so to those who book here, please use minimal toilet paper and don't put anything down the toilet aside from the standard. Additionally, the house sits on a well and although you can drink from the faucet, Linda will provide drinking water.
