Modern and Comfortable 1 bedroom unit in Muirhead

This fully tiled and air conditioned spacious self-contained 1 bedroom private unit would comfortably suit 2 guests on brief holidays, business trips or those wanting extended stays. Relax on your porch with an evening drink while listening to the local birdlife from the native style reserve next door. It is located in a quiet residential area of a new developing suburb. The unit is light, airy and modern with all the comforts of home. Guests will enjoy a full kitchen with gas stove, oven, full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, large smart TV and WiFi. The bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed with a large mirrored wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom is a good size, hand and body wash is supplied. A sofa bed is available upon request, probably more suited for a child as you must enter the bathroom through the bedroom. A separate laundry area with washing machine is also available for guests use. The unit is situated alongside the main residence with it’s own entrance and car park so you can come and go as you please. To access the unit you will need to walk past the verandah of the main house. You will have your own outside sitting area, as shown in the photos, but please note it is connected to the main verandah. We rarely use the verandah but our small dog often sits out there. I am only a text message away, as someone is always available onsite we are happy to assist you if you need anything during your stay. If we are about, you will always be greeted with a friendly face and we will always respect your privacy. The guest unit is centrally located but not walking distance to shops, local shops are proposed to be built in the near future. Just a few minutes drive to Lee Point or Casuarina beach, Casuarina Square shopping Centre, Darwin Hospital, several taverns, local swimming pool and the free Leanyer Recreation Water Park. The international airport and the University is about an 8 minute drive away with a 15 -20 minute drive to the CBD. Darwin is easily accessible and people are always helpful and friendly. A car is recommended, hire cars are available from the airport and Taxi/uber are only a phone call away. A bus stop to Casuarina Square is just 2 minutes walk down the road. You may hear minor noises from us as we are close by and on hand, and happy to assist you if you need anything during your stay. If we are about, you will always be greeted with a friendly face and we will always respect your privacy. Please note the unit does have a connecting internal door which is covered and always locked for your privacy.
