Beautiful Sunny Apartment in Five College Area

A delightful second floor apartment in town with a rural aspect, five minutes walk to Florence center and five minute drive to lively downtown Northampton. Culturally diverse 5 college area with a large collection of restaurants, cafes, art studios, book stores, live music venues and eclectic shopping. In the surrounding area there are many recreational activities with lush greenery, rivers, lakes, hiking, skiing and a lovely bike path, which passes by local breweries and live outdoor music. The apartment has a private entrance and parking, an open aspect with natural light all day from the many windows and skylights. It has an open plan kitchen, dining area which leads to a cosy sitting room with skylights and a gas cast iron stove operated by a thermostat. There are 2 ceiling fans and window air conditioners for the summer. The bathroom has a bath/shower combo and a washer/drier. There is an outside deck with chairs and the private shaded front garden may be used in the hot summers. Self check in and out. I am on site for any help needed but otherwise you are totally private. There is an information book with ideas for enjoying the area and the local restaurants and businesses. There is also an information center in town. Florence is a very pleasant suburb of Northampton with its own center which has shops, restaurants, banks, ice cream stands and more, an easy five minute walk through a pleasant neighborhood. The bike path is a few minutes from the apartment. Northampton is an easy 5 minute drive with ample parking, there are also taxis available. Car, uber, taxi or bike to downtown Northampton. Walk to Florence center for wine, beer and groceries, post office, bank, cafes and a few restaurants.
