Minusio Garden Apartment ,Pet Friendly,Town Centre

Minusio is a large, 3 storey red sandstone Edwardian house and is situated in the desirable Woodlands area of Falkirk. A convenient location with the quaint town centre only a few minutes away. The Callander House, Park and Woods, Antonine Wall and site of the Battle of Falkirk are all close by. The Kelpies, Helix Park and Falkirk Wheel are all a very short car journey of about 10 minutes. The two railway stations are approximately 10 minutes away walking. Close to bus stops, shops and parks. Free parking is available directly outside the house in the quiet residential street. Minusio Garden Apartment has its own entrance to the side of the main house. The gate opens to broad steps leading down to the apartment within a delightful small landscaped walled garden. There is a little garden area with a small child’s playhouse. The garden is for the sole use of our guests and is fully enclosed. Perfect for children and dogs. Patio doors lead directly into the 28 feet in length open plan studio which is for seating and sleeping. Here there is a comfortable 3 piece leather suite, seating 6, situated around a 40" smart television with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube. We can accommodate up to 6 guests in total. Sleeping arrangements are comprised of a comfortable double bed, a trundle bed (2 single beds) and 2 single folding beds with high quality mattresses. Beds not reserved shall be removed to provide additional room space. Please inform us of your requirements when booking as we are always eager to assist. Double doors lead to a well equipped medium size kitchen. Door to spacious shower room. A self catering breakfast is included. Selection of cereals, milk, bread, butter and preserves. Coffee machine pods, coffee and tea. We have a large garage which can accommodate your bicycles, prams, workmen’s tools, golf clubs etc. Quiet residential neighbourhood with free on-street parking. Parking is directly outside the house on the white line in front of our black garage door. We'll be around most of the time should you require any assistance or additional information, don't hesitate to ask! Please come to the main house entrance or text my mobile number in the guests book. My daughter is hearing impaired and a BSL signer. We would love to welcome members of the deaf community and their assistance dogs. Thank you for your interest in our flat and in our fabulous town of Falkirk. Travellers to Scotland who are willing to venture off the usual tourist trail and visit Falkirk, will be handsomely awarded. It's a unique large town with a charm of its own and is extremely friendly and family minded. Minusio is only a few minutes from the High Street and the area is steeped in history and has profound connections to the Romans, the Antonine Wall, our Nation's hero William Wallace and both the Falkirk battles. Local history of the 'Speckled Kirk', the nearby site of the famous Barrs Irn Bru factory, Callendar House and woods and the Bantaskine estate are close by as is the John Muir Way. The Kelpies, Helix park and Falkirk Wheel are only a very short drive away. Outlander filming was conducted in various locations here. The Falkirk Stadium also stages world class concerts. However there's lots more to discover if you take the time to explore deeper. Close to the motorway, Edinburgh/Glasgow/Stirling and Perth are all easily accessed. The closest bus stop is just a 3 minute walk away with bus timetables provided in the guest information book, along with telephone numbers for taxi firms should you require these. There are 2 railway stations in Falkirk and Minusio is situated between them. They are both 10 mins walking. Travel to Glasgow from Falkirk High in 20 mins and from Grahamston to Edinburgh in 25 mins, approximately. Stop off at Linlithgow to visit the palace and Mary, Queen of Scots, birthplace. By car, 10 mins from Falkirk to Linlithgow. WE DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES. The flat is part of a large family home and is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. We are EXTREMELY pet friendly. We absolutely LOVE having pet guests! Please just message before you book to check though as our back garden may not be entirely comfortable for your pet’s needs as it’s laid with gravel, has steps and we consider it small! WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS TO STAY IN THE FLAT ON THEIR OWN. Please accompany your dog to the garden to clean up after them and even though the garden is fully enclosed a small dog may be able to escape through the metal garden. Part of our family comprises of 3 small dogs. Hamish the Border Terrier X, Bonnie the minature Jack Russell and Annabelle the Chihuahua. We all use the front garden when we have guests and it’s very unlikely that you’ll meet our dogs.
