Sonas - Beachfront Cottage, Isle of Skye

A cosy beachfront Cottage, new to the rental market after a small refurbishment. Sonas is a lovely, 1 bedroom Cottage located just outside the village of Broadford, with panoramic views of the Red Cuillins and the beach right on your door step. Plenty wildlife to be seen, including Dolphins, deer, herons & Otters. This is the perfect base to explore Skye & Lochalsh with plenty to see, do & eat! If you’re a sunset lover you’ll be amazed by the sunsets witnessed right from the comfort of Sonas! The Cottage has been recently refurbished to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kitchen & living area with panoramic views of broadford bay, use of the log burning stove including supply of kindling & logs to keep you cosy. A well equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer and washing machine. Shower room with heated towel rail. Main bedroom with feature fireplace, wardrobe, mirror and chest of drawers. Also includes TV and Amazon fire stick. The house has modern storage heaters set at a comfortable temperature making them eco friendly, we do ask these are not altered during your stay. Parking located at the front of the Cottage. Within the enclosed garden area there is a drying line and a pallet chair to take in the view! Sonas is located down a peaceful single track road - Waterloo just off the A87 making it a prime spot for travelling further North of the Island to explore many top attractions such as Kilt Rock, The Fairy Pools, Neist Point & also if you’re planning on doing some Island hoping to the outer Hebrides. The South end of Skye also has many spectacular areas to visit such as Elgol with the stunning views of the Cuillin Ridge. The A87 offers easy access to Applecross, Glenelg, & the famous Eilean Donan Castle . A 20minute walk to the centre of Broadford village where you will find the local Coop Supermarket, pharmacy, gift shops & a 5 minute walk to the nearest hotel/pub - The Hebridean Inn. If you love outdoor activities there is plenty of choice all over the Island & Lochalsh. The house is strictly no smoking and we do not accept pets. See our guidebook for more details!
