20) Handicap accessible - Queen Bed - Captain's House

This room is on the first floor of the Captain's House with a partial view of the harbor. It has a queen bed, television, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with shower. Please contact us if you are reserving this room for handicap access as we want to ensure that we meet all your needs. Service dogs and other animals are permitted upon request. Guests staying in the Captain's house have access to a spacious deck and communal Lookout room with unobstructed views of the harbor. There are two restaurants on the premises, in addition to shared spaces to lounge and enjoy the views. You may use the lawn area, Lookout Room, lobby and wrap around porches during your stay. Coffee is provided each morning. There is plenty to observe being next to a working harbor! And water activities to enjoy nearby. Please check in at the lobby upon arrival. We will do all we can to accommodate you during your stay. Our historic seaside inn is located in a small fishing and boating village on a rural peninsula. It's the perfect location to discover Maine's scenic coast, working harbors, and culturally-rich Rockland and Camden areas. The East Wind is about a 90-minute drive from the Portland, ME airport. You will likely want to drive here or rent a car so you can explore mid-coast Maine. The Knox County airport is also nearby and offers hopper flights. Breakfast is included with your reservation!
