Water, a solar shower and compost toilet provides you with all you need for a back to nature experience. Close to Knepp Rewilding Project, Pulborough RSPB, vineyards and lots more. The Willows Lakeside Retreat is a space for those wishing to escape and spend time in nature. The wooden shepherds hut is cosy and insulated. You can either sit on the balcony over looking the lake or in your private shady seated area where the little river wraps around you. A solar panel provides light and phone charging. The fire pit is there for you to cook on and lose yourself gazing in the fire. A compost toilet, solar shower and washing up facilities are 1 minutes walk away. No electricity, gas cooker, microwave's or hairdryers. Bedding and towels and wood and charcoal are not provided but can be arranged at an additional cost. Lots of walks, vineyards and local pubs. The ground breaking Knepp Rewilding Project, Pulborough RSPB, Parham and Petworth Park, Arundel Castle, the South Downs Way and Goodwood are also close by. See the Guidebook for more info. Your car is parked a 2 minute walk away so a wheelbarrow is provided. Farm shop on site open Monday to Friday. Sorry no children or pets. The number 1 bus stops outside which goes from Worthing, if you fancy a trip to the seaside to the market town and South Downs National Park head office in Midhurst. 2 miles away is Pulborough train station which runs from Southampton to London Victoria. The Willows can be accessed by public transport. The number 1 bus from Worthing to Midhurst stops outside and we are 2 miles from Pulborough train station for the direct London Victoria train. Taxis must be booked in advance. We ask that you take only photos and memories and leave only your footsteps and nutrients and take all other rubbish with you. We will not be held liable for any accidents or incidents. Trees falling, lightning striking, falling in the lake, tripping over uneven land or any other injuries to you or your car ! As it is a nature reserve sorry there is no fishing.
