Gruhaya Boutique Villa is an exquisite holiday home located at Rajapihilla Terrace, Kandy, Sri Lanka and was designed and perfected by us with a view to help you enjoy “a home away from home.” A tastefully furnished with antique furniture and many ornaments which were actually collected over a very long period. A mixer of wood and stone carvings and a stone flooring adds a flavor of Kandyan heritage. The entire house is on a split level in at least 6 levels, each level interconnected with very cleverly laid out steps, few in number such that the floors are comfortably reached. Please note that this was an already existing hotel in Airbnb for which a local firm handled bookings. Due to management decisions as from 20th july 2017 we handle our own bookings under Gruhaya Boutique Villa and have a fresh account with Airbnb. Gruhaya is located a stone’s throw away from the famous Kandy lake and within a few minutes’ walk to world heritage sites such as the famous Dalada Maligawa (The temple of tooth relic), Museum, City Centre, war cemetery, market square and other places of interests. It is a short distance from Kandy City center, Bus station and Railway station. One could take a comfortable 10 to 15 minute walk around the picturesque Kandy lake to reach these places or hire a Tuk Tuk. We also offer the services of our chauffeur driven mini Moke Jeep for a drive or utilize our bicycles We take great pride in offering our guests’ the very best in customer service and our hand picked staff work hard to achieve this from giving you a warm welcome to making sure your holiday is as relaxed as possible, leaving wonderful memories of your home stay away from home. On request adventure tours to places of heritage, wilderness etc can be arranged in our fleet of off road vehicles and vans. We also offer our guests free branded brand new mountain bikes for cycling within Kandy.Transport facilities for guests in our very own Brand new Mercedes Benz passenger transporter or Hybrid Honda Vezel car is available for Airport pick up/drop off or tours at concessionary rates.
