North Curry Conservation village is our closest village and has a super pub called The Bird. There are lovely footpaths and walks in the local area. The stunning Saxon church in North Curry known as The Cathedral on the Moor. We are on the edge of the Somerset levels, with many well known places to visit- Willows and Wetlands Centre, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole caves, Glastonbury Tour, Burrow Mump, Swell woods ,Somerton... Great restaurants in Taunton such as Augustus and Brazz at Taunton Castle Hotel; and the infamous Rising Sun pub at Knapp nearby. The fabulous Mount Somerset Spa and restaurant are just down the road. The Somerset County Cricket Ground, and Taunton Museum are well worth visit.
