Sylvia's Irish Inn Animal Room

Located a short distance from the U of I campus, Sylvia's Irish Inn welsomes you to experience an unforgettable stay at this historical Irish Inn built in 1895. Animal room: Bright, cheerful room with south exposure; sleigh bed, antique side table and chest, TV/VCR,phone Sylvia & Ernie Sullivan Inspired by their B&B stay during their honeymoon in North Carolina, Sylvia and Ernie dreamt about having their own B&B and collected furniture for it for 14 years! While they were living in England, they saw an ad for the Historic Lindley House and they fell in love with it so much that they purchased it online. They soon moved back to the U.S and into the historic house with 18 crates of furniture, all of it from Europe. Sylvia was born in Englad but was raised in Ireland. Sylvia and Ernie have enjoyed hosting guests from all over the world for almost 15 years! Sylvia's favorite part about owning a B&B is getting to know her guests. Sylvia says she "learns something new every single day."
