Beautiful modern seafront 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is on the first floor of a four-storey building. There is an open-plan sitting/dining room and kitchen, with a large bay window looking across the beach and estuary. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a washing machine with dryer. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds (full size so suitable for adults or children). In the bathroom, there is a bath with a shower and a heated towel rail. The apartment is well equipped for small people. There is a travel cot, a high chair, a hand blender, and children's eating utensils. The whole of the apartment is available for guests to use. My family has owned this apartment for over 40 years. Four generations of the family have enjoyed coming here for holidays. Our grandchildren love being so close to the beach. We have planned the facilities to be family friendly as well as being superb for adults. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned between visits. The beds will be made-up and bath towels are also provided for you. We have a very good arrangement with Seabreeze, a nice fish restaurant two doors down from the apartment. They hold the keys for us and service the apartment between guests. You can get breakfast and dinner there if you wish . The restaurant is very popular, so if you want dinner it is best to book in advance. As a special service to our guests, they are also happy to bring dinner to you in the apartment - a good option to avoid needing a babysitter! Aberdovey is a gorgeous town. The highlight is, of course, the beach - four miles of beautiful sand, backed by sand dunes and an eighteen-hole links golf course. There is plenty to do around the town. For the active visitor, there is an impressive range of activities - putting green, tennis courts, crab fishing, walks, kite flying, playground/swings, tennis, bowls, golf, sailing and loads more. Aberdovey is also a lovely place to potter around, with a range of beautiful shops (clothes, gifts, artwork), nice coffee shops, pubs, butcher, convenience store, deli etc. Further afield, there are great day trips. One of our favourite ‘days out’ is to walk along the beach to Tywyn (takes about an hour and a half), where there is a lovely café for lunch. You can then walk or get the train back. Other day trips include the Dolgoch Falls, Talyllyn Railway, the Centre for Alternative Technology, the Bearded Lake and plenty more. The apartment is just 800 yards from Aberdovey railway station. Journey times are around 4 hours from London. There are also regular buses that go to Tywyn and Machynlleth. We normally ask guests to book 2 nights (or more) over weekends and bank holidays.
