Countryside retreat close to amenities
The Annex at Borrow Hall, a grade II listed building, owing to being the birthplace of George Henry Borrow (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , writer, linguist and traveller is situated in a 23 acre small holding on the edge of Dereham, a large market town central to Norfolk. Good road access to the Norfolk coastline, Norwich and the broads. Public footpaths run directly from the front of the property allowing you to explore the countryside or access the local amenities. Although primarily suitable for 2 adults, if you have an infant we can provide a travel cot/highchair. We can also provide a blow-up matress for the lounge area, if you have a young child, but please contact us to discuss. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and glasses. There is also a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with a few pods provided. The outside private space provides a covered seating area and fire pit/ BBQ with wood logs provided. You are welcome to walk around our field, ensuring any gates are closed behind you.p The self-contained annex is attached to the main house, so we are on hand if required. We have 2 young children, Mari, the sheepdog, chickens and sometimes a few sheep. Mid-Norfolk railway operates from Dereham. Public footpaths run directly from the front of the property for direct access to the countryside or a 15 minute walk to the local amenities or 30 minutes to the center of Dereham town, where you can easily catch the bus into Norwich. The annex is located approximatley a quater of a mile down a bridleway.
